Just bought a KDL46XBR2. Problem is HD cable HBO, SHOW TIME etc have good picture quality but regular channel HD looks like crap. Did I hook up something wrong or are regular broadcast stations not as good as "preimum" channels? The input is through an HDMI cable and a motorola cable box... Thanks for the help...
You have a mix of Stander Def channels and High-def channels. The SD channels won't look as good as the HD channels especially on your tv which has over 1 million and a half more pixels information than SDTVs do! Make sure your cable box is set to output a 1080i signal for best results. Ced
