What is the MPAA thinking...Talk about intrusive legislation...Thats what we get for allowing lobbist in the =USA=...What a freaking joke... Yes...this is a spoof...unfortunatelly the MPAA would do it...if they could get away with it...I thought it was obvious...apparentlly not...
....see; now this is just utter stupidity; if the MPAA wants to start getting pi**ed off about the fact the we want to stay home and watch GOOD MOVIES; in the comfort of our own homes; instead of the crap they are putting out in theatres; then I say SCREW EM!!!!!!! ...I CANNOT believe how rediculous this is getting; I mean, yeah; file sharing isn't necessarily the 'good' thing to do; but I mean, who cares??? EVERYBODY im sure has DL'ed a movie or song @ least once in their life by now; especially in this day and age; HECK, I bet a lot of the members OF THE MPAA have done plenty of file sharing themselves!!!! ...But I mean, COME ON!!! NOW THEY WANT TO START CHARGING US FOR USING EQUIPMENT TO SHOW MOVIES THAT WE PAYED FOR WITH OUR OWN MONEY!!!!???!!!!! THAT MAKES ME SICK!!!!!! I don't know how much more of this crap I can take from the MPAA........I mean; yea; I'm only 14 yrs. old; but this kind of Bullsh*t is gonna affect me more than ne one because by the time I've grown up; there's gonna be DRM and CP over just about ne thing you touch in the future....... ....I've seriously thought about moving to Canada when I was older; just for the sole fact of being able download to all my heart's content; and LAUGH in the Riaa and Mpaa's face while I do it ...so; to close w/ this rant today; I just want to say; Thank You; Lp531 for posting this; I'm glad that you posted something like this so that way the world can see just how pathetic the U.S. is some [a.k.a. MOST!!] of the time....
Of course this has to be another spoof! When I bought my first dvd player, included in the box was 5 or 6 brand new dvds. Sony included "Talladega Nights The Ballad Of Ricky Bob" BlueRay disc with PS3. This title (Region 1) isn't even supposed to be released until Dec 12 th, so almost 1 month early it hits the public for viewing. Wonder if the MPAA is going to go after Sony? LOL
@Lp531, That satire certainly sparked a lot of comments http://digg.com/offbeat_news/MPAA_Lobbying_for_Home_Theater_Regulations
