My friend brought over he's pc for me to check out cuz windows was not booting, so I'm trying to reinstall Win xp and when I start up the pc to my monitor it the monitor doesn't turn on and seems the pc is rebooting constantly. I have set his hdd to slave on my pc and got the stuff he needed. Then I tried reinstalling Xp with mine except I don't know where I left my serial (no biggie Ill look for it). Now I have also tried placing my hdd which works perefectly fine on his pc to see if it was the hdd or the pc hardware itself and same thing happened monitor stays on stand by. So I have no clue what to do from here, is the pc fried(pc was covered in dust all inside) or can I still save it? Thanks for the help guys.
