Hi, I need a hi-spec laptop that meets my budget (£500); I am recently in need of a laptop because my desktop pc is falling apart one-piece-at-a-time (long story).

I need one which has a fast processor, 512mb+ RAM, 100gb hard drive, 128mb graphics card, tv tuning card, cd/dvd writer/reader and wireless capabilities because it will mainly be used with a number of applications at the same time, due to me being a university student. (you know how it is lol)

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hey, I found this laptop @ PCWorld. It seems v good value for what it is, but is £60 over budget...
    Here!

Next best one I could see on their site was this.

This is also a v good laptop from staples (the best one for you IMO)
    Here!
This is what the Fujitsu Siemens looks like

Thanks for the response Ripper. The "COMPAQ C350 Laptop" caught my eye because of its huge 120GB hard drive and impressive 1024MB of RAM which is excellent (if only a TV tuner was in the spec :{)

Ripper could you show me some good wireless cards/usb sticks? To access internet via a wireless router? (Need a wireless router and card/stick in my uni dorm, possibly one with security protection because I don't won't anyone else stealing my internet)

Yeah, TV tuners don't tend to come with them, unless you buy a multimedia one (ie, ripoff ;P)! So you coudl allways add one yourself.

As for wireless, I would't know, as I don't have it myself and don't know much about the prtoection side of it either. I'm sure someone will be able to help you out with that though :)
