i have ran numerouse virus scans and they find them but cant remove them i us avast and when i run a boot time scan it freeses what am i to do i dont know how to fix my pc please can somone help me get the pc running like new again ? i always have errors and i cant get the viruses off thank you please help
here are two solutions and one comes from microsux and actually works here are the links http://safety.live.com/site/en-US/default.htm?mkt=en-US windows live safety center does a full tune up cleaning dead files, spyware, viruses, cleans registry, defrags and optimizes it will take on average 3hrs when its done reboot one last note after its done disable system restore the viruses in your system are probably respawning from there here is how right click my computer, click on system restor tab, check box that says disable. Once you have done that get rid of avast and get avg free edition at this link http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5 ok but your not done yet because virus removal is tricky keep system restore disabled until you finish running a full update and scan using avg if you still have viruses that won't go away go to this link http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and use trend micros housecall it has antisyware/virus removal also and will take about 2hours to run. Now once all this is done back up your most important files well some would say to do that first but I think your infection runs deep the choice is yours back up first and then after wouldn't be bad either. I know it's time consuming and that is why in my business I always back up data and reinstall everything it beats trying to get rid of bugs in infested pc's and since I get paid by the hour my customers save money. Good luck by the way reinstalling gives you the performance of a new system so it's something to consider.
