I've heard stuff about Windows Vista and it'll be released next year, but does anyone(probably nobody) knows that if you can download Windows XP files on the soon to be released Windows Vista????
don't type in all italics, please. what kind of xp files are you talking about? do you mean downloading an .iso of WinXP and burning it? DRM will most likely make that a challenge. or do you mean drivers? as with other Windows OS changeover, drivers will typically not be compatible, at least not forwards-compatible. and with such a large change as this, don't expect them to be backwards-compatible, either.
I think he/she(no offense, I dont know which one) means "file" as in programs for features such as the media center app that you could install on vista. The answer to that would be no because vista is broken up into versions with more features.
