ok i plan on a nforce 680i mobo with a e6400, 7950gt-in the future SLI'd (maybe 8800gts if i can get the extra cash), creative Fatal1ty, 1 dvd burner and 1 cd burner, and most likely 2 hdd's. So what kind of psu do u think all this will need? l8tr days

If you don't plan on SLi with the 8800 this will do you nicely: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817194004 Or a bit less power for cheaper: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817163109 If you plan on SLi with an 8800GTS I recommend at least a 700W PSU If you SLi with the 8800GTX you're gonna need an 850W PSU.
