A friend of mine gave me his xbox I modded for him to fix. The problem is it goes into an endless loop when the chip (Xecuter 2.6 with live bios) is turned on and gives and error 21 when off. The thing is in both cases the boot sequence is in black and white. I've tried reflashing in the cromwell bios I have on bank 2 but no luck. I don't think anything's wrong with the video output, since when I boot to the flashing bios (cromwell 3.03) it displays colors fine. The only solution I can find to potentially fix this is a hotswap, but all those mentioned usually involve bad softmods, and I don't know if it'd work since this box is chipped.
Well first of all flash the X2 5035 bios and then use slayers evox auto installer and rebuild i.e format and reinstall EvoX dashboard on your xbox. Also check if the Xecuter 2.6 is soldered properly.
