Hello room am new...and so far i think this room is the bomb. Just wanna say nuff big up to the host/s and the day to day visitors. Am having a problem. when i download the channels to my Coolsat 5000 Plat, i notice am missing some channels. If anyone have experience the same problem or knows how to solve it, thanks for the help.

If you are missing just a few channels, its probably because the sat providers are moving some of the channels to new transponders. Re-scan the sats and you should get them back. If you are missing many channels like around half of them, then you probably don't have the settings right for the sats in your receiver setup. The sats and switch settings have to match the switch ports the cable goes to if you are receiving multiple sat signals. Example::: if sat 110 signal is input to switch port #1, then it has to show the same in the receiver antenna setup.

thank you Jerry i will try that. am not missing too many channels its just that i was looking for BET and could not find it,but i have most of them.

Probably just the transponder moves then. A rescan should find most of them but DN is still moving some around.
