Hi guys, I'm new to the board.

I just had a few questions about editing or repairing a VHS tape. I just bought a TV tuner so I got it onto my hard drive. The only problem I have is that there is a little flickering part at the very bottom of the screen. Is there anyway I can repair that or, worse case scenario just edit it so a tiny portion of the bottom is not being showed?

If you played it on a TV it won't show because it would be in the over scan area. You can use a video editing program to crop it out also.

Is there any editing programs you would recommend?

TMPGEnc Plus is a great program that I have used often. Does many video editing and encoding functions.
