Hey all. I was just browsing the Apple website and was looking at the iMac in particular. Are these things easily upgradeable in the future? They are very compact, but I'd hope they wouldn't be hopeless in 5 years like a laptop would be. So are they upgradeable or what?
Yes all mac machine you can do upgrade. memory card you can do you self easy,regarding the rest the mac comming with most of the all you realy need .pending on machine hard drive etc yes you can add hard drive but no point the price so get a mac were you have big hard drive dvd to day i did check the swedish apple site a 24 inch g5 cost about 18.000 krona its about 1200 pound or you can have a look at my site made on my mac http://swedento.justgotowned.com
Depends on what you mean by "upgradeable" The processor & video card isn't really upgradeable. You can swap out the hard drive or RAM.
