    Howdy,
I recently bought the game Titan Quest(diablo 2 with pimped out graphics).
My computer can handle the graphics without dropping frame rate, but for some reason my sound is lagging. Some sound affects repeat multiple times, and the problem gets worse and worse the more I play.
So yesterday I went out and bought a separate sound card -- Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer.
It is better then using my onboard card, but after a while the sound begins to lag again, and progressively gets worse the more I play.

    Here is my set up:
    Athlon 64 X2 3800+
    Asus M2N SLI Delux
    XFX GeForce 7600GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16
    1 Stick of RAM, 1GB.
    Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer.

Should I ask for 1Gb stick of ram from Santa? This way I will take advantage of dual channel speed. Will that fix my sound lag problem? or is there an easier solution?

    Thanks ahead

    -Alex

    hello
before buying anything else go to game official webpage or forums related that game to see if it is happening to anyone else because it can be a bug in the game because your pc should handle that game with no hassle.

maybe theres a patch out there for that..
