I made a short movie using Adobe Premiere 6.5, 1:33 in length. When I go to Export the timeline, I export the movie using DivX 5.0.5 Pro codec. In the settings I can make the bitrate 18kbs or 4000kbs and it still comes out as 16.5 mb in size. It only happens when the resolution is set at 320x240. Also, it takes about 10 seconds to export the whole movie, seems too fast. Has this happened to anyone? Anyone know a solution, while keeping the resolution at 320x240?

    Thanks

Just an idea but perhaps you could export the video uncompressed from premiere. And then use virtualdub to compress it properly into DivX.

The afterdawn DVD->DivX guide should be of some help?

Ahh well I surf the forums every 2nd or third day just for something to read :) Polytech can be soo boring sometimes.

I don't know why it went into inactive, but I got a message one day saying that my email address (hotmail) didn't exist anymore, and that it was giving afterdawn bounce messages. So I changed it, and now I'm back on again. :)
