I assume you are chipped or swapping discs?.. Is your playstation a new "PSOne" Or an older version?

well i got my psone about 3 years ago, it's the mini one. i have a mod chip installed and i have a bunch of back ups that work fine but everything i've tried to do to make back ups has failed miserably. i was succesful at getting the marvel vs. street fighter disc i burned with alcohol to play in ePSXe but when i put it in my system, i get nothing. i have an HP 1900 cd-r burner on windws 98, everytime i try to burn raw-dao in alcohol though it keeps failing due to "invailid.. field" or something. i really want to learn how to do this. every guide i've tried brings me to the same place. i am obsessed now and i can't sleep so if anyone can help, thanks.

Maybe the ISO you downloaded has some corrupt sectors in it, ive had some like that before. Just a few days ago I DL a few ISOs and got them to work first try, used CloneCD for one and Nero for the other... I cant really tell ya a lot more since I dont know the workings of the MiniPS, since mine is an older one and I just use disc swap, sorry

i had the same problem... i´ve downloaded some isos , burned with nero and it only worked perfectly on EMUS (like virtual game staton n epsxe) , not in my psone. let me explain what happened with me : when i burned the isos it made MODE1 DISC AT ONCE (D1) discs (u can see this information with PSXCOPY2K) , and i noticed that all my "PSONE" working games were MODE2/XA DISC AT ONCE (D5) , even the orginals.

So , to make this "modification" on burning , i got one of my games that only worked on EMUS , made an iso of the disc using ALDOSTOOLS ISO PRODUCER . Then , i r1ght-clicked the iso and choose OPEN WITH NERO (i have nero express 5.5.10.20 , n don´t use wizard) ... it opened up a screen 2 burn the disc , where shows that the iso is MODE2, so i choose DISC AT ONCE 96 , FINALIZE CD, and burned ... IT WORKED ON PSONE NOW , and i saw on PSXCOPY2K that the cd burned now is MODE2/XA DISC AT ONCE (D5). YOU SHOULD TRY THIS.

ps.. if u don´t have the disc anymore, but only the iso file , i suggest burning it nero (file>burn image), even that the disc be a mode1 , and after that , start making an iso of this mode1 disc with ALDOSTOOLS ISO PRODUCER, and bla bla bla...
U can always check the file types of an ISO using PSXCOPY 2K with VIRTUAL DAEMON TOOLS (actually on 3.33 version)

    i´m waiting 4 your reply!
