Hi, I currently have a 6800 goes like hell 512mb graphics card on a A8R-MVP motherboard. A friend of mine is upgrading and is getting rid of his two 6600's which I can have for next to nothing.

My questions are 1. can I use the two cards together as SLI with my motherboard and if there will be alot of difference? and If I can't use tehm with this Motherboard would it be worth my while investing in a newer one to run the two cards as SLI?

    Thanks in advance.

here is a good guide for how gpus perform with some real life scenarios.

about your mobo, im pretty sure thats a crossfire model, so unless you find some kind of hacked bios it will only work with 2 ati cards.

it might be worth getting those cards and seeing if you can make some profit out of them. sell yours aswell and buy the best ati card you can afford, then you could add anther of those later.
