Im puting a lcd tv in a bed room. This tv will be used for Direct TV HD, Xbox 360, HD DVDs, and probably bluray, and PS3.

My budget is olny about 300 (yes i know this is going to be a small tv)

Would this tv http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...CategoryId=pcmcat95100050013&id=1142288915135 display the 360 games in HD (would i see a 720p and 1080i picture)?

    Is it wide screen?

How long do these things usually last?

Any help would be great. PEace

Do you have a specific model in mind or are you asking for suggestions?

If you read the link then I'm sure you saw that it was widescreen. Contrast is a little low (500:1), response time is good. You will certainly be able to display widescreen, HD images with this set. You may find it a bit small, though. Keep an eye out for 23-27" LCD sets in the $300-400 range this holiday season. I got a 23" LCD for $300 and I've seen other good deals since. You may be able to get more for your money with a little patience. It should last 30,000-60,000 hours, I think is the going rate for LCD's.
