i'm getting a new computer for christmas

    Intel Pentium d 930

    abit ni8 SLI mobo

    two pciE radeon 1600 pro's 512 megs each

    two gigs of pc 4200

    two WD 160 gig SATA drives set up as raid

    and that badass asus case that looks like an airplane

    a 16x dl dvd-/+r/w/ cd-r/w combo drive

    and FOUR monitors

    what do you guys think pretty nice eh??

    lol, can you stay up or right a note telling santa to drop by my place. That system is like $2000, 4 monitors, what you have four eyes, just playing, its good just make sure you have nitro to power that system. Good luck oh, PLEASE get 2 nvidia cards, only if you can.

    editing/ mixing/ mastering in pro tools is a lot easier with that many, one for edit window, one for mix window, and two for all the gui plugins, especially on a final mix

    yeah my computer is badass i ended up getting two nvidia geforece 7600 GT oc cards and my psu was 25A at 12v... it's got two bars so i only needed 400Watts

    i ended up getting 1gig total of pc 5300... though i want two.. and i've seen dual channel 6400 for cheap

    Hey,

    Nice set up 4 monitors!!

    If youve got it yet hows it going?

    If you havent wouldnt it be a better investment to knock off a monitor and use it to go core duo??
