i've used flaskmpeg to encode many movies with no problems but just recently i tried to encode a movie and after setting everything up and hitting flask it! i got two back to back errors. #1: There was an error opening the video codec. Make sure the video codec selected supports the processing format. #2: An error occured when trying to generate the file. Check that you're not using the output file or the program is setup correctly. without it even attempting to encode. i thought there might just be something wrong with that particular movie for some reason but the number of movies that i recieve these errors when trying to encode has been steadyly rising. some movies still encode with no problem but i'd say over half are haulted be these pesky errors. i have no idea what to do. if anyone can help please respond. thanks ahead of time.
