Ok i have to computers sitting side by side each with its own monitor. i want to be able to drag files from one desktop to the other. and maybe use the same mouse and keyboard on both at the same time. i know this is possible i just don't know how to set it up. what equipment and/or software is needed for this type of setup? please give me some advice. thank you in advance

really? is that all? i thought a kvm switch allowed you to switch between two systems by the toggle switch. i want to have to systems side by side each with a monitor side by side and seamlessly drag a file from one desktop and my cursor flow onto the next desktop without toggling anything. i hope it is as simple as a kvm switch but i've had one before that just allowed me to switch between which system i wanted to control. thank you very much for the help ddp
