This guide is for beginners who want to make a signature using Adobe Photoshop CS2.

Our finished product should look something like this (Without the bent text):

    What you need
Adobe Photoshop CS2, link for trial, or if you want to buy, can be found below:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/

    The wavy image, found below:

    The render (Scorpian)

After you have saved those images, and have Adobe Photoshop CS2, we can begin.

    Step One
Lets open up Photoshop, we will want a new image, so go to File, New, and then choose the pixels. Make it 500x100.

    Step Two
Now lets place our background (the wavy image)
So go to File, then Place, then go to your wavy image.
Now, you will see it is small, so stretch it until it fills the white area of your image.

    Step Three
Now, we will need to get our character in (render).
So go to File, then Place, and choose your scorpion image. Move him around to a corner or an edge or something.
Stretch him out until he suits your liking, not too much, because you don't want to distort the pixels.

    Step Four
you will notice the ugly white space in your image. Lets remove it.
So, go to the Magic Wand Tool, it is the fourth item in your Tool Bar.

Use the wand to select the white areas, then press the delete key on your keyboard. Keep doing this until you don't have anymore big white areas.

You will notice the image has some ugly colors, like the white on the edges of some diagonal lines. Click on the magnifying glass (zoom), and zoom in until you can see the pixels well. If your render is off the screen, then scroll over until you see him.

Select the white areas, and also some of the gray ones, and delete those. Be careful not to select the whole image, or part of his leg or something, because that will just screw up your image. If you do, then go to the History bar, and select the part were you messed up, highlight it, and delete it. Just keep deleting the area until you don't have any white in the areas were it doesn't belong.

    Zoom out to 100%

    Step Five
Now you will need to put your text in. Select the T button on your Tool Bar, and select an area. Choose your size and color, nothing too big, but not too small, because you want others to see it. Now you type in your name.

You can see my finished result in my signature, mine has the wavy text, but yours should look something like this.

    Congratulations!
    You have made a signature.
