Harddrive

    I have had to buy another computer due to my processer fan packed up and my computer died, can any one tell me if i will have a problem by taken my hard disk out of the dead computer and putting it in a external case and plugging it into a usb port,as this as got all my family photo's and would like to transfer them to my new computer and it as also got windows xp on so will this conflict with my new computer many thanks for any help any one can give, just to say i am at fault as i did not back anythink up thanks again

    as long as you plug it in after boot up, winxp on an external wont cause any issues. not that i know of anyway.

    can also hookup internally as a slave drive.
