hey i just put my mod chip in and i cant find out how to save games on the hdd?? I have a xenium gold with evox 8 bios do i need a new dash ??? I new at this so any help would be sweet.
reading a few of the thousands of threads that cover this very topic would of been a great lace to start but.............DVD2XBOX or via FTP, it's quiet simple and the search button is your friend, learn to use it. kc

ya thanks i found dvd2xbox. now i just need to learn how to set up a ftp. johnstarr did you get a new dash or are you just using golds dash?? i have the same chip i didnt know if i had to get a dash. any help on how to set up a ftp would be cool!

there was nothing cocky here at all, you told the guy, or mistakenly me, that FTPing wasnt necessary in your opinion that he should run off to a torrent site and dowload AID. why on earth would he need to do that when he can FTP into his box allready, and either/or install a few meg of application (DVD2XBOX) or he can FTP the game directly there and accomplish exactly what he asked to do in the first place,............yeah i don't see the humor in that. kc
thanks ya i still dont understand all this but i'm working on it. I been trying to ftp by internet explorer but i cant get it to work. I know i have to unlock my hdd and type in some thing like Ftp:xbox:xbox@198.169.1.32. o an other thing do i have to get a new dash to make this work. if you could point me to some forums for noob so that i can get myself on the right track that would be grate.
