External Drive Issue - Please Help!

    This may be wishful thinking but...Is it possible to partition an external hard drive so one partition is FAT32 and the other NTFS? I work between a mac and a pc and wish to transfer files between them, and also back up large video files off my pc. As FAT32 I obviously cant backup 20GB video files. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. Ian

    can partition the external into 2 & have 2 different formats if using win2k or above.
