Unlocking / Unblocking a UK Vodafone SIM Card

    Apolpgies if I am asking questions (two) in the wrong area. I am very new to this.

    I have an old unregistered Vodafone PAYG SIM. It has not been used for many months. When I tried to use it yesterday it came up unregistered. How Can I get this changed?

    I have also tried to download a phone list to it and because I have forgotten the PIN code it is now locked/blocked. How can I over come this?

    I can provide further info if required.
