Sansa e250r HELP PLEASE

    my sansas music is all unknown and when i looking through the artis it says unknown... im tring to update the firmware in recovery mode but it sats there was an error reading the detail version... CAN NEONE HELP ME?
    also when i try to plug it in it says conecting and the screen goes white and restarts over and over
    how do i erase all the music and fix this problem?

    It might be corrupted... try running CheckDisk.

    Set the Sansa to MSC
    Settings -> USB Mode -> MSC
    Connect your Sansa to your computer
    On your computer click
    Start -> Run
    type cmd
    On the command prompt, type
    chkdsk x: /f
    *where x: is the drive letter of your Sansa
    (if you're unsure what drive letter your sansa is, go to My Computer, look under Devices with removable storage)
    When chkdsk is finished, it will ask "Convert lost chains to files?". Just type N, and hit enter.

    That should fix it.
