    Hi,

I have a film saved as .avi and i want to watch it on my dvd player, can someone give me a link or tell me what program i need to convert it please.

I have looked at tmpg enc but that only appears to convert mpeg or mpg to dvd playable format.

    many thanks

Is there any way to convert the avi to DVD format... NOT vcd or svcd... my player does not support either one. Nor have I heard of anybody saying either way whether this is possible...

    Thank you in advance...

Yeah, but obviously you need to have DVD writer. Simply re-encode the video with TMPGEnc's DVD template, author the disc normally with DVD authoring tool and burn the disc.
