AVI/ac3

    Are there any converters out there that can convert avi/ac3 to avi/mp3. I ripped a dvd and want to play it on my mp4 player but it doesnt support ac3, and I dont want to lose quality from converting either.

    mencoder -ovc copy -oac mp3lame -noskip input.avi -o output.avi

    You will lose audio quality (also channels if the AC3 is 5.1).
