    alrite, ive got a problem...

ive been using p2p sharing since the napster days, done em all from napster to ares to winmx to kazaa to kazaa lite to limewire to frostwire, and ive decided to try torrents.

i first used Bittorent, but it was reallyt slow (same problem as below i think) so my cousen reccomended switching to Azureus, so i did.

    now heres my problem.

my faces sometimes are grey, and never get past yellow.

download speeds are never faster then 5kb/s.

im on a mac g5 running OS X and am connnected via ethernet cable directly to my Sharter Surfboard High Speed cable modem.

ive searched threads and they all talk about adjusting your router and such.... i do not use a router, so i cannot do this.

    PLEASE HELP

    Hello Kirko,

To get the fastest speeds with Azureus,

1.Ensure that the 'NAT OK' circle located on the bottom of the Azureus window is green.

    2. Ensure the you are not 'DHT Firewalled', resulting in a yellow or red circle on the bottom of the Azureus window.

    3. In Preferences > Transfer, ensure that your global max upload and download speeds are set to '0' (unlimited).

    Happy New Year!
