I just got a BFG 7800gs video card for my dell. It says it needs a 400watt power supply. I have a 300watt power supply replacing the stock 250 watt power supply will it work, should I do it or just get a new power supply before even trying. Are there any risks?

if u have few things plugged in on the power supply meaning 1 hard drive 1 dvd burner and stick of ram and rnt using any pci slots then it could work and probably get some errors and restarts while playing so a stronger power supply is a must
