i have an imac 700mhz and i want to run a video out to my tv to watch movies etc. but it seems like this is the only imac that apple made with no composite video out, i recently got a averkey 3 converter but it doesnt seem to work i think its the older model, any suggestions?

yeah; get a new vid card;....

...although i'm not familiar w/ mac hardware; you should be able to get a decent vid card and it'll have normally include a d-sub, dvi, and s-video output on it. Just search around on Newegg or TigerDirect.
