avi_io - best preferences.

Hi, i just downloaded avi_io.
I usually use DivX or Xvid compresser, problem is its pretty crap quality, and it sometimes leaves trail lines when played back.
I was just wondering what do u think the best settings, preferences are to capture using one of these two compressers.
p.s i've got a WinTv capture card, It only cost £35, whats that about $50 so i'm not expecting dvd quality here.
