I have some video on my external hard drive that I would like to wat ch on my TV. Instead of burning to a DVD,is it possible to link the tvout on my 9800pro card to the same port on my TV and use the hard drive as a player instead using the DVD player already hooked to my TV? If so,could I play it off of the usb2 hard drive,or would I have to transfer the files to the main drive for better quality??

If indeed it is possible,I would like to learn more, but I m real new and don't even know what technical words to search for thru a search engine,so if anyone could provide me with a few links,I would appreciate it.

    Thanks,eh?

Anything you can see on your computer screen you should be able to view on you tv. Sometimes there are issues but mostly you can display anything.

I don't really know any good guides to link you to. I recommend either looking at the book that came with either you pc (if came with pc) or video card. After that try the website.

If you a want basic overview on how to setup tv output just let me know.
