PC2 vs PC memory

    is there a difference between pc2 3200 and pc3200?? im looking to upgrade my dell dimension 4700 at work.. thanks

    pc2 3200 is ddr2 at 400mhz pc 3200 is ddr at 400mhz ddr2 uses a different slot than ddr ram i searched ure pc and it uses pc2 or ddr2 ram it could use also pc2 4200 runin at 533mhz
