I am currently learning to use DVD Architect. I've seen a lot of people build motion menus with this program but I can't do it. Do you need a different application to make motion menus? I tried using Adobe Premiere Pro to make menus but it freezes up my computer and everytime I try using Adobe Encore DVD, an error message displays. Thanks for your help.

Do you know what other programs support making your own motion menus?

I've played with DVD Architect for a bit; it is an utter sheer piece o' crap. If you want to make motion menus for your DVD, there are a few options. If you want it simple, you can use TMPGEnc DVD-Author, which will allow you to set your background as a pre-encoded .MPEG file. If you want it a bit more complicated and in-depth (up to 8 audio/subtitle tracks, etc.), then use DVD-Lab Pro 2. Both of those provide full compatibility for motion menus, whereas DVD Architect was just a frustrating pain. It's like one of those opensource programs you download that doesn't actually run. Why the hell bother? If you get it to work, it'd probably be a piece, anyway.
