I'm having a problem with Winamp now. Today when I was using Winamp something wrong happened and it still happening. Now this is what is happen, whenever I play a movie file (.avi .mpg) the program freezes and it freezes my computer. The only thing I can do is hit Ctrl + Alt + Delete (sometimes several times before the task manager opens) and once the task manager opens the movie starts playing. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem before or something like it. I need to know if there is a way to fix it. I upgraded Winamp and uninstalled and reinstalled it but it is still giving me this problem. How can I fix this problem w/o reformating my computer?

PS Music works fine on it. The version I'm using is 5.32. Also I tried an earlier version 3.01 and it worked but the colors were off of what I was watching.

    Thanx,
    Jay

Actually I figured out the problem it wasn't Winamp after all. It was Divx. I don't know if it was a bad codec but I just uninstalled Divx bundle and winamp is working again.
