DVD Shrink shows green at 4.456Mb..will this burn ok?

The guide for dvd shrink says ripped files must be less than 4.36Gb.
However, I've got a totally green bar at 4.456Gb, wil this burn and play ok or do I need to take it down to the 4.36GB?

It probably will. the reason your bar is totally green at that level is due to the settings of DVD Shrink, it reflects nothing on what the disc or burner software can actually write.

It's actually 4.38, not 4.36. If tried to burn a dvd that came in at 4.39 after I ran it through the DVD Shrink compression process. When I took it ti Nero it wouldn't burn. Nero said it was too big for the media I was using.

Is it 4.45Gb or 4450MB? Because 4450MB = 4.346Gb(approximately). Most people forget that you aren't just dividing by 1000, its 1024.

The Star Wars Trilogy I've just done recently was set at 4472 Mb as output filesize & neither Nero Burning Rom or RecordNow DX has a problem...

Yeah - i did i burn at 4480 just to try it, Nero didnt like it but Record Now burnt it fine. No probs on DVD. If there was it would just be credits anyway ;-)

hi quick question:when i compress a film with DVD Shrink and it saves it into a folder how do i burn all the VOB files?
i have tryed Nero and when i dropped and draged them into new dvd then clicked write it went to start then it said failed file allocation i also have alcohol 120%

Did you follow a guide to burning files w/ Nero ?

You want to burn all BUP IFO VOB files in DVD-Video option in Nero Burning Rom...drag n drop all to VIDEO_TS folder
