does anyone know how to put videos and pictures on a sansa e250 without the software

I've got two videos on my computer but they go to the sansa e250 2gb but when i try to look at them on my sansa it says empty and that's the same way with my photos they come on the computer but don't show up on my sansa e250 does anyone know why that might be happening and i got it as a markdown at a store so all it had was the usb cable and the mp3 player itself.
