two sutitles for one movie...

    hello i'm new to this forum and i've gone through the subtitles forum and no one posted that question. so I would like to post it...

    So, I have two subs for one movie in diffrent languages and I want to make a DVD with both of the subtitles but with the option to choose the subtitle I want...

    I'm using winavi and Tmpegenc.

    hoping somone could help me,

    I think you can do that if you use Avi2Dvd instead. There is a guide here at AfterDawn. Step 4 describes how to add subtitles and if I understand it correctly, you can add up to 3 different languages.

    Don't confuse the Subtitle 1 and Subtitle 2 with what is written in the text about having two parts of film and two subtitle files. If you have a movie made from two avis you name the two avis film1.avi and film2.avi. If you then have English and Spanish subtitles to the two parts you name them eng1.srt, eng2.srt and spa1.srt and spa2.srt.
