    hello guys,

Just got my gamecube installed with Qoob SX a few days ago by a gameshop. I downloaded some ISO games and followed the instructions posted here. (NERO and RITEKG04 media) But when I tried to boot the game, this error pops up:

I tried to burn another ISO using a TDK Mini DVD-R but the gamecube cannot even detect the disc

IMGBurn detects the ritek media I used as: Pre-recorded Information - Manufacturer ID: RITEKG04 01.

I've already burned 4 ritek media but still get the disc read error. I've bought a bootleg copy of Zelda from a gamestore to check if my modchip was the problem but the bootleg copy booted normally.

    Any help would be appreciated.

With Nero (6.6.0.16) I burned mini-DVD media at 2x with no problems (ritek G04) and full size media at 4x with no problems (Fujifilm dvd+r, memorex ritek dvd-r and verbatim dvd-r) .. you'll have to play around with your burner speed settings and media if you know for sure that the POT is set correctly and it will boot a backup game. What burner are you using?

I've used Nero 7 and a Samsung Lightscribe. Have you adjusted your POT? I don't know if the guys who installed the chip managed to adjust the pot or just installed the qoobchip.
