i start up my pc. and no video comes up cpu doesnt seem to do anything fans spin. computer doesnt beep nothing. it just hangs there on a black screen. xp pro. pentium 4 3.2 dual core
moved to correct forum. disconnect all cables to drives. remove all cards & ram except videocard & 1 stick of ram, reseat those 2. if still no post clear the cmos as have found that to kickstart a system that wouldn't post before. try another psu as current 1 might not be good eventho fan spins. check the can shaped objects on the motherboard which are capacitors that they are flat topped not domed.
