Hello, I used to have a IBM Thinkpad R51 and used to connect my laptop to my tv all the time via an s-video cable and did it with no problem. Now i got a Compaq Presario with an Nvidia card, and when I put the s-video cable into the tv and the laptop and make the tv my primary monitor, the only display I get is the background of my laptop with no icons or mouse or anything, I cannot do anything and watch it on my tv but it shows that it is connected one way or another. Any help greatly appreciated.
you may need to downadjust your dimensions IE: 800x600. Otherwise you can call the company and go to tech support.
