help with laptop vga to tv?

    I need help. I have a sony laptop with vga output for tv. I have a converted plug VGA to RCA and S-video. When I press FN+F7, my laptop shows a pop-up saying "LCD Only" what can i do? Thanks

    It probably means what its saying, it will only connect to a LCD TV. if you dont think so go to the sony tech support site that corresponds with your model and look to see. It will specify.
