I installed the Nero 6 suite a couple of days ago. Continuing a multisession CD (burnt with Nero 5.5) is no problem. But burning new CD-RWs is: shortly after the burn process starts, uo oios a message "Could not perform fixation". How to solve this problem? I use Windows 2000. Thanks for advice. Danker
What model is your burner? Is it an LG? a Phillips? If so, try erasing an RW disc -- you that fails, your burner is el'toasto (I am assuming that you also cannot burn onto blank rws) Also, do you have the latest ASPI? http://cd-rw.org/articles/archive/aspisetup.cfm
I can erase RWs, and yes, burning new RWs also does not work (same error message). But I'll try to follow the aspi link you supplied, and see what happens then. Thanks so far! Danker
Burning slower indeed works! But after I installed the latest Aspi layer, high-speed burning also works fine now. Regards, Danker
