Unable to get AVI_IO to capture from DV

Somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong. I am trying to capture the video from my Sony TRV19 with AVI_IO. I have set all the settings per the guide but AVI never acts like it sees my video coming in and never captures anything. The capture device is listed as Windows WDM. Can anyone assist me? Thanks
