    Hey there, I am currently using an ATI Radeon 9200 Atlantis 256MB graphics card, I am considering upgrading to a faster/better graphics card in order to reap the benefits Windows Vista has on offer.

    I have an ASRock K7VT4A+ Motherboard.

    I found two that are within my price range (£50-£60)

    ATI X1300 512MB PCI-E VGA + DVI-I Graphics Video Card

    256/512MB nVidia GeForce 7300 PCI-E Graphics Video Card

    Thanks.

    doesn't that board have an agp slot & if so than can't use a pci/e videocard without also upgrading motherboard, cpu & possibly ram & psu? just checked your motherboard manual & you have a 4x\9x agp slot & 5 pci slots so can't use a pci/e card on that board.

    I have the above card, but mine is a PCI-E card. Not sure how much that would effect it's quality. But i can play F.E.A.R. just fine without lowering any graphics quality.
    It also plays the newest most demanding game i have found, Rainbow 6 Vegas.
    I doubt highly that any of the cards below $100 US will play most of the newer games.
    You also have to take into account your processor and RAM
    Like mine is a core2duo 2.13GHz (overclocked to 2.5 per core)
    with 2GB of RAM

    Cheers for the reply guys.

    At the moment, I have got an 480 WATT whisper quiet power supply, so I should have no power problems.

    @steimy

    Your PC specs are great, I've only got an AMD 2800+ XP pushing 512MB of DDR RAM :( (Desperatly in need of upgrading lol)

    @demon406

    Cheers for the link, any chance of a UK link for the same product?

    @demon406

    Cheers for the link, The AGP graphics cards are tooooo expensive.
    For £136, I could buy a new up-to-date motherboard with a CPU, memory and a fan and still have money left over to pay for the postage.
