Ethernet controller problems

    hi... i just had to reinstall windows xp and and all of that stuff but now i can not connect to the internet... my device manager says its the ethernet controller... it cant find the driver.... i have a dfi mother board and am just using the onboard ethernet... any suggestions.. where can i get the driver... or is my onboard just screwed and i should go by a nic card?

    Go to your motherboard website and download the driver. Or if you still have the cd that came with the mobo, install the ethernet drivers.

    yeah thats waht i figured... didnt know if there was an easier way... dont have the mobo cd... and im at work and cant remember what model i have... thanks
