my computer keeps dying out on me

    well this is my situation when ever i try to make a movie or convert a avi file to a dvd file my computer turns off on me it basically turns off whenever i do something that takes a long time i mean i can download stuff and it doesnt turn off but when i wanna put it on the com or a dvd it turns off
    i ve got a acer aspire 3000 laptop and i called the acer ppl and they dont wanna help me with out like a 100$ just to talk to me

    Sounds like your power converter you are using may be failing or not delivereing enough power when your laptop is sucking up the juice. And i have a theory and i dont know if it is right but plausible, that do to copy right laws they are cappable of shutting down the computer if its tempted. i dont know if tis possible or actually true but it sounds liek your havving a power issue.

    copy right laws won't cause that problem.

    disable the power settings in control panel by saying never.
