I can't burn any sony or lionsgate films, no matter what software I use, either using anydvd/clonedvd2 or dvd decrypter then dvd shrink. Can some one give me a few pointers of what software I can use or how to use the ones I have if I'm doing it wrong. Thanks.

Current up to date versions of AnyDVD or Clone DVD will handle all Sony/Loinsgate films. Similarly DVD Shrink with AnyDVD running in backgroud will handle these films.

Are you running a legitimate up to date version of AnyDVD?

Well,...I own both AnyDVD & CloneDVD2...and currently neither of these programs can handle the latest Arccos PuppetLock encryption currently found on LionsGate release "SAW 3" and SONY release "OPEN SEASON" These current encryptions include an unusaul 40 bogus title sets which have caused serious trouble for AnyDVD though I have used CloneDVD2 to handle backing the completed RipIt4Me file to disc. RipIt4Me (Freeware) is currently the only software program that works with DVD Decrypter and normally FixVTS to ripp through this encryption. My advice is to keep a variety of different decrypting, encoding, and transcocding softwares on hand, as encryptions today vary in their levels of difficulty practicly with each major release. I used to be one who swore by Slysoft, I no longer do this because I can't, and as the people behind RipIt4Me (Freeware)have stepped up to resolve the most difficult encryption I've encountered and have done so proactively.:p

Ok, thanks alot to everyone that told me to use anydvd with dvd decrypter, cause thats all it was and I've been finally able to back up all my movies from Sony and Lionsgate.

N2DVD, in reply to you post on here, try using it the way e1 has been saying in here and it should work for you.

Thanks again ya'll, have a good one.
