I have an interesting problem, with both divX and Xvid.

It´s like Im watching a super wide screen movie. Looks like there is a bit of the movie missing at the top, I usually never se a whole Head or face.

    It´s looks like this:
(* = movie size, # = the part thats missing)

Ok, is does anyone understand what Im saying :), and is there anyone who might know what might be wrong?

I have the newest Xvid / DivX codec installed. The problem is the same no matter which software I use to watch.

    Hi!
Well maybe it is an encoding problem, which means that the one who encoded the movie selected zoom and now you only see a part of the movie. Try installing DivX 4.12 and use the player included. if you made the rip, go to YOU WERE WARNED! to read a guide and find out the problem in the settings.
    Enjoy!

Yes it might be the way the encoder did the movie. You can try and resize the movie yourself using the FFDShow decoder filter.

Also does this happen to all your movies?

Ok, I´ll try that. This happens to 50% of all movies, quite annoying =)

    Do you download these movies?

What player are you using to watch your movies?
