Just Purchased Top Of Range Toshiba ?

    hello Uer457, the TV seems really nice, i have seen older models of this tv with really good reviews.

    However my 1 concern is that the contrast ratio of 800:1 seems rather low. you may find it hard to view the image on screen depending on the amount of light hitting the Tv and the room.
    Despite this, that amount of contrast may be enough for yourself, try to compare different contrast ratios in a electronics store and see what you think.
    Also what are you going to use this for? (Consoles, Dvd etc)

    This is just my opinion so don't be disheartened, its still a beast of a TV. :)

    Hi

    Thanks for your input and i wil try and compare the contrast ratio as you suggested.

    The set will mainly be used for watching SKY with the occasional dvd.
    Oh.. and X-Box 360 with its media streaming capabilities.
